Holder of a doctorate in clinical neuropsychology, research and intervention, from the Université de Montréal, Dr. Morin-Moncet has developed the neuropsychological evaluation experience with clients of all ages with neurological disorders and mental health. He has also worked in neuropsychological assessment and intervention with people with intellectual disabilities (ID), with or without autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and severe behavioral disorders (GCT) at the University Institute of Mental Health of Montreal.
Dr. Morin-Moncet has benefited from his experience in the maintenance of clinical hospital and / or rehabilitation services. in setting up and monitoring appropriate intervention measures for people with a neurodevelopmental disorder and a serious behavioral disorder.
In his private practice, Dr. Morin-Moncet evaluates and intervenes with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and associated adaptive difficulties, that he has made it possible to optimize the functioning in the problematic behaviors, in addition to developing a specialty in the evaluation of ASD without DI.
In addition, Dr. Morin-Moncet has several years of work experience in the Youth Protection Branch and an intermediary resource for people with ID and a history of behavioral disorders.
