Marcos Rodrigues is a Physical Therapist with more than 16 years of experience in many aspects of rehabilitation, such as specialized patient care, team coordination, teaching, consulting, and research. He is fully licenced both in Brazil and in Canada.
He received his B.Sc. degree in Physical Therapy from the University Bandeirantes of Sao Paulo in 2003, his title of Specialist in Neurological Physical Therapy in 2004 and his M.Sc. in Rehabilitation Sciences at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy from McGill University in 2015.
In recent years, Marcos has excelled his clinical and teaching skills by working as Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant for Neurology and Orthopedy at McGill University and associated Research centres in Montreal and Laval. He was also involved in administrative positions as President of Graduate Rehabilitation Science Society (GRSS) at McGill, Co-Chair of Clinical Research for the CPSR (Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery), and International Delegate for the PT and OT council in Brazil (CREFITO-3), where he is a member since 2003.
During his years of experience, Marcos has always prized communication and leadership, allied with quality and innovation in rehabilitation as core values to success. As of April 2018, he is the Coordinator of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation at the Montreal Neurotherapy Centre.
