Emmanuel Comte is a naturopath with more than 10 years of experience that specializes in intestinal health and the gut-brain axis. He is a graduate of the École d’Enseignement Supérieur de Naturopathie du Québec (ÉESNQ) and a member of Association des Naturopathes Agréés du Quebec.
He followed the core training Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice at the Institute for Functional Medicine (WA, USA), a leader and innovator of a health approach oriented towards the identification and the resolution of the root causes of diseases. In addition, he regularly attends ongoing training on natural remedies.
Emmanuel has a solid 12-year experience as a naturopath at the Montreal Integrative Medicine Center working within a multidisciplinary team. In particular, he co-directed the natural products dispensary. He supervises naturopathic students at the ÉESNQ. He is also a trainer in Québec for St-Francis Herb Farm, an expert in manufacturing high quality herbal health products.
He is particularly interested in education, chronic disease prevention and health promotion by focusing on behavioral change. His favorite research topics are nutrigenomics, epigenetics and their impact on cognitive health.
