Véronique Latreille, doctor in neuropsychology, has been a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec since 2019. Dr. Latreille has specialized expertise in sleep, aging and neurology. She obtained her doctorate (Ph.D.) in 2016 at the University of Montreal and her work focused on the links between sleep changes and cognitive decline in adults with Parkinson’s disease. She completed two postdoctoral fellowships (Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and McGill University/Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital) to study sleep and memory disturbances in adults with refractory epilepsy. Dr. Latreille is the recipient of numerous awards for her work and presentations at international conferences and has obtained several prestigious scholarships. She is the author and co-author of around thirty published scientific articles.
Dr. Latreille offers specialized sleep intervention services (cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia) in the form of individual and group follow-ups with adults and seniors. For an elderly clientele or those with mild cognitive impairment, she also offers specialized cognitive intervention services (memory, attention) in small groups or in individual meetings. Dr. Latreille offers services in French and in English.
