Dr. Stéphane Bensoussan, B.Sc., M.A.Psychologist

    Stéphane Bensoussan, M.A. Health & Educational Psychologist, Meditation Teacher 
    Stéphane is a Psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. He is the founder
    and clinical director of Clinique PsySanté in Pierrefonds-Montreal. He has written and
    published “ Mieux vivre avec le cancer: Les solutions naturelles pour atténuer les
    symptoms” , a book designed to help people deal with cancer and its side effects.
    After completing graduate and post-graduate work in Health and Educational
    Psychology at McGill University and the MUHC, Stephane has developed extensive
    professional training in the areas of cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral
    neuroscience, health psychology, psycho-oncology, psychoneuroimmunology, spiritual-
    based therapies, empowerment coaching, attachment styles, emotion-focused therapy,
    transformational imagery, body-centered psychotherapy, and mindfulness meditation.
    He has recently completed multiple trainings in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and
    is passionate about this emerging science and practice.

    While initially trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, Stephane integrates elements of
    psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, emotion-
    focused therapy, clinical imagery, and hypnosis into his practice. His diverse
    professional experience allows him to tailor his approach for the individual needs of
    each client. Stephane is passionate, compassionate, and open-minded. His genuine
    peaceful, kindhearted approach is supportive, making it easy for clients to connect to
    him.

    In a group setting, Stephane has led many corporate wellness workshops, retreats and
    school-based mental health programs. He is a reputed mindfulness meditation instructor
    where he guides his students into mindful movement and breathwork, teaching the
    basic principles of mindfulness.
    In his clinical practice, Stephane works with adults, teens and couples using a short-
    term solutions-oriented approach.

    He is currently accepting and supporting clients in their preparation and integration with
    ketamine assisted therapy. He is part of the Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy Team
    at Neurotherapy Montreal.
