Dr. Gabriel Leonard is Assistant Professor in Neurology and Neurosurgery and a Clinical Neuropsychologist/Neuroscientist at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital.
He is presently principal investigator on a neuro-stimulation study that examines cognitive and physical rehabilitation in patients with Multiple Sclerosis.
Dr. Leonard is an expert in the design and implementation of neurocognitive and behavioural test batteries.
He has over 30 years of experience and more than 70 publications and his interests are in development, motor coordination, learning disability, attention deficit disorder, and neurological illness (Head Trauma, Stroke, Parkinson’s, ALS, Brain Tumour, Epilepsy, and Multiple Sclerosis).
He is the Director of the Cinical Neuropsychology unit at the Neurological Hospital.
Dr Leonard is past President of the International Society for Behavioural Neuroscience and a reviewer for several international journals.
