What Brain patterns are we supposed to change for stress reduction?


One training we use at Neurotherapy Montreal is called Alpha Theta training. It essentially mimics the effects of meditation. In this case, patients are exposed to audio feedback with no visual stimuli. Its effects are much more dramatic and more rapid than traditional meditation.

What happens in the brain during the sessions?

With Neurofeedback the central nervous system can be stabilized. Additionally, the agitation caused by stress can be calmed down and self control can be increased. This will decrease feelings of anxiety or anger and improve, self-esteem, concentration and organizational skills.
